Economic Modeling

A key stepping stone to successful market access and reimbursement is an integrated demonstration of value across economic, clinical and humanistic outcomes.
Starting with a regulatory evidential need/gap analysis, we conceptualize the right modeling strategy to deliver rigorous and customized HEOR analytical consulting. We leverage our expertise in quantifying value by modeling disease outcomes in executing custom cost-effectiveness analyses, cost-benefit analyses, and budget impact analyses.

DISCERNING PATTERNS OF HEALTH AND DISEASE

After the traditional hurdles of efficacy, safety and tolerability, a fourth hurdle of cost effectiveness has to be overcome, with continued focus on how to demonstrate the sustained value that the intervention brings within the healthcare systems serviced. A key stepping stone to successful market access and reimbursement is a demonstration of the value of the intervention from various stakeholder perspectives.

Starting with an evidentiary need/gap analysis, we conceptualize the right modeling strategy to deliver rigorous and customized HEOR analytical consulting. Given the limited disparate resources available from research (clinical trials, RWD, and publications), patients are simulated through a decision analytic model (decision trees, Markov models, discrete event simulations, etc.) to plausibly extrapolate disease outcomes over a chosen timeframe. We leverage our expertise in quantifying value by modeling disease outcomes in custom cost-effectiveness analyses, cost-benefit analyses, and budget impact analyses that are HTA submission ready.

Typical problems we can solve for our partners

  • Stratify the eligible treatment population to improve efficacy and minimize adverse events
  • Predict the subset of patients who truly benefit from an intervention
  • Develop disease forecasting and epidemiology models to understand the natural history of the disease, the impact on patients, the health system and identify the size and subgroups of target populations
  • Inform your asset plans and future development strategies
